Mike’s extensive career in the U.S. education publishing, technology, and curriculum market spans over 30 years of senior-level sales and marketing experience, Mike has held C- Suite positions in seed stage, growth stage, and established education companies like School Specialty, Scholastic , iLearn and as a key partner of consulting firms Focus Marketing and Education Market Experts. He specialized in growing sales revenues by expanding market presence, developing distribution channels, and creating competitive sales and marketing strategies to startup and global education companies. He also serves as a trusted advisor in sales and marketing for innovative ed-tech companies and currently serves on the Expert Panel with the Education Research and Development Institute, SXSW Launch Advisory Panel, Start Ed Mentor, BETT-London Global Presenter in 2025, 2026 and is founder and CEO of the Texas Education Alliance-the premier authority in the booming Texas education market.
As Managing Principal of US Education Advisory Group, Mike brings his leadership and deep expertise, knowledge to help education companies navigate the nuances of strategic business development, state and district relationships, government affairs, and state agency processes
Mike and his family live in Austin, TX and have a deep passion for the state and the city of Austin that includes raising his children in Texas public schools, playing shortstop for a local sandlot baseball team or spending time at the family ranch in Spicewood, TX.

Wendy is a business development and partnerships leader with 15+ years of experience working across EdTech, Higher Education, and workforce development organizations.
She helps mission-driven companies and institutions build strategic alliances, launch innovative programs, and create go-to-market strategies that drive growth and relevance—from digital learning startups to top-tier universities.
Wendy has advised and collaborated with organizations such as ASU, University of Chicago, University of Michigan, IESE Business School, Strategic Education Inc., and Year Up. Her work focuses on bridging academia and industry, integrating emerging technologies like AI and XR, and launching high-impact pilots that scale.
Jasmin Schiener
Principal-Strategic Markets
Jasmin Schiener is the founder of ClearMind Collab and is the Chief Strategy Director for US Education Advisory / Texas Education Alliance with 15 years of experience in U.S. Higher Ed/K12 and EdTech.
Most recently, Jasmin served as the Operations Principal for Guild’s new Product Expansion unit, overseeing the launch of a team responsible to expand Guild’s offering to a global learner audience. She has an extensive background in scaling operations for product units and consulting teams, leading higher education/K-12 strategy projects, Edtech product innovation and market expansion. Her passion for equitable access to higher education and an innovative ed landscape helps her choose her collaboration partners across the US education landscape. In addition Jasmin is an expert in the Texas Education market and has driven many successful strategy projects for Ed Tech companies looking to enter and expand the great state of Texas.
Jasmin holds a law degree from Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany with a focus on International Law and Antitrust Law. Originally from Berlin, Jasmin has been a Californian for her entire career.
